Worship Service Ministries
USHERS assist in welcoming and orienting newcomers and
helping the service proceed smoothly by distributing worship service bulletins,
taking attendance, collecting and presenting the offering, and directing the
congregation during communion.
ACOLYTES are active participants in the service. They serve
at the altar and assist the priest at our summer 9:30 AM service. There are children, youth and adults currently rotating throughout the year.
If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, please contact Addy
Landrio.
READERS AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS provide opportunities for
members of the congregation to participate in the worship service by reading the
appointed lessons and psalm or by administering the cup of wine during communion. Some training is required.
Please contact
Father Matthew for more information.
EUCHARISTIC VISITORS bring
the sacrament to those who are unable to come to church. Training and a special
license are required. Four members currently take the sacrament to our
shut-ins. Contact the Father Matthew
for more information.
ALTAR GUILD is
responsible for setting and cleaning the altar, vessels and hangings each week,
and also arranging the flowers. They are responsible for care of linens, silver,
candles and vestments. This is a behind the scenes ministry that help make
our liturgy orderly and peaceful. Currently four committees follow a
rotating monthly schedule. They always welcome new members. Please contact: Mary Lou Watt.
MUSIC/CHOIR - The organist/choirmaster performs as the primary
instrumentalist for worship services. He also directs the choir who provides
choral music to support and augment congregational singing at the 9:30 am
service beginning
the second Sunday of September through Trinity Sunday with rehearsal at 8:30 am. If you would like to join the choir, please contact our organist/choirmaster Paul Crouch.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND FAITH FORMATION
Sunday Morning Worship offers Children's Chapel during the first half of our worship service from September through May. The children begin worshiping with their families, recognizing how they are members of the community with everyone else, and then joyfully process out after the Collect of the Day to attend Children's Chapel. Teams of two to three adults take turns each Sunday offering lessons, discussion, prayer, and activities where children ages 5-11 have the opportunity to interact with the Word of God in a format that is appropriate for them as their older siblings and parents enjoy our worship in the Nave. They return at the Peace to share in the Ministry of the Table, where disciples of all ages share in the mystery of Christ's offering to us all.
Nursery is open from 9:00 AM until after church for children 5 years of age and under.
Monday Evening is a time prayer and bible study as groups meet at 7:00 PM. Please come join us.
Wednesday Evening offers adult education as all are given the opportunity to continue growing as disciples and serving God. We begin at 6:30 PM.
On Thursdays afternoon Trinity is proud to be sponsoring
the Warren Area Children’s Sacred Choir, a primary age choir for
children in grades 3 through 8. Children from any area of Warren County,
including homeschoolers, are welcome to join. The weekly activity on
Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 6 will feature a variety of sacred
music from many genres along with movement activities to inspire
children to bring their best to the music. The community activity will
culminate in several performances around the county (dates and places
TBD). Kathy Bowley, a Trinity parishioner and public school music
teacher, will provide the musical leadership with parents of children
asked to provide volunteer support by providing snacks, chaperoning
rehearsals, and helping with performances. Rehearsals start at
Trinity on October 13th. For more information or to sign up your child,
please contact Trinity’s office at 723-9360.
Youth Group for children 12 & up, is held the last Sunday of the month with events and social time each month aimed at offering our youth a chance to share time together, talk about important issues that affect them, and to find how God is speaking to them in their lives. The monthly time will culminate in the 30 Hour Famine in the Spring.
